Thanks for the link. I know what you mean. I haven't had to program from the front panel of the radio yet which I consider to be a blessing. One thing you will want to do is check their website for protramming updates. Ham Deluxe is one of the great examples.

Anyone use the Yaesu ADMS-4B programming software?

It works just fine, as the OP found out 5 years ago. I mentioned in another thread that I might write a review of it, but I haven't really gotten around to it.

It works very well and only costs a few bucks: They mass produce their software discs and you may or may not end up with the latest version even though you are buying it new. I first saved the current configuration sotfware case of the unthinkable but inevitable accidental reset and then played around a bit.

CAC, You have to be doing something wrong, or the copy you got was junk. Yours will offer more complete control over your radio than what my HT software can so I can just imagine the fun you will have with it.
